Biscuits


Ingredients:

Plainflour(maida)-500gm

Butter-190gm at room temperature

Sugar-250gm

Eggs-2

Bakingpowder-1tsp

Salt-half tsp

orange essence-1tsp

Method:

Mix butter and sugar until light and fluffy.In another bowl lightly beat eggs and essence.Gradually add the egg mixture into butter and sugar mixture.Sift the flour bakingpowder and salt together.now add the flour into butter mixture. Mix throughly until withoot forming any lumps. now place the dough in the fridge for 1 hour.Once the dough is chilled roll on a floured surface about half a centimetre thick.cut the biscuits into ur desire shape.place them in a greesed tray with 1 inch distance.Bake the biscuits in a preheated oven at350 c for 20 mintake the tray out and leave it to cool .store the buscuits in air tight containor.
